Dr. Ross Cushing

Ross Cushing, Au.D. is co-owner of A & A Hearing Group. He graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Audiology and a Masters in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from the University at Buffalo. He has published senior papers and articles on audiology related topics ranging from tinnitus to best practices for patient care. He currently focuses on hearing instrument fittings and rehabilitation in his offices.

Dr. Ross Cushing is an active member of the professional audiology community. He is on the Board of the Maryland Academy of Audiology, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

Dr. Cushing is always willing to speak at no charge for 30-60 minute presentatations regarding any topic related to hearing, tinnitus, hearing research, or hearing aid technology. He can gear the presentation for an entertaining and informative talk, to suit the audience.

Dr. Jenifer Woo Cushing

Jenifer Woo Cushing, Au.D. is co-owner of A & A Hearing Group. She graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Audiology from the University at Buffalo and, while there, published over twenty peer reviewed scientific articles while working at the Center for Hearing and Deafness. She enjoys giving presentations to her peers and to the community on topics related to hearing health and technology.

Dr. Jenifer Cushing is a board member of the Audiology Foundation of America, a committee member for the marketing division of the American Academy of Audiology, and a Fellow and member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

Dr. Erica Keats

Erica N.K. Keats, Au.D. received her Masters degree in audiology from the University of Virginia and received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D) degree from the University of Florida. She has worked in a variety of settings as a clinical audiologist where she gained valuable knowledge diagnosing hearing and balance disorders as well as working with the most advanced hearing aid technologies.

Dr. Keats has had the opportunity of supervising 4th year doctoral students, and enjoys working with patients of all ages, she has had additional experience working with pediatrics as she spent almost 2 years working at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.

Dr. Keats is currently a member of the Maryland Academy of Audiology and the American Academy of Audiology.

Jennifer Cookman

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Cookman has accepted our offer to stay on as a doctor of audiology at our Chevy Chase office, once her 4th year doctoral externship is completed this July. She has a wealth of knowledge about hearing aids and aural rehabilitation. Jennifer also has worked internationally with the hearing impaired in Guatamala and Trinidad.

Caroline Harris, HIS (Hearing Instrument Specialist)

Caroline Harris currently wears 2 hats at our Frederick office, providing our patients with services as a hearing instrument specialist, as well as managing the front office. She is excellent working with hearing aids and enjoys meeting and working with patients and helping with the coordination of patient care.

The Staff

Brenda Harper

Brenda Harper is the Office Manager for the Montgomery Village office and billing manager for A & A Hearing Group. Brenda has an extensive background in marketing and customer relations. She very much enjoys meeting and working with patients. Patients love to see Brenda because she is so personable and accommodating.

Holli Behrman

Holli Behrman is the Front Office Manager for the Chevy Chase and Aspen Hill Offices. Holli has an extensive background in small business and customer relations and very much enjoys meeting and working with patients and helping with the coordination of patient care.

Jeff Wong

Jeff Wong has a winning combination of being both people oriented and technically excellent. He assists with patient coordination and in-office hearing aid repairs and cleaning for us at the Hyatt Residence in Chevy Chase, MD.
